Resultados de la encuesta enviada a los directores/responsables de los archivos de las universidades españolas (públicas) para conocer la idoneidad de los indicadores propuestos para medir la transparencia.

The project’s main aim is to compare the use of similes and corresponding metaphors deployed by Spanish digital media to communicate Covid-19 from February 2020 to February 2022.

The dataset includes constructions with the word virus/coronavirus as a target both in simile form (94 examples, 76 sources for ‘(corona)virus is like X’) and in metaphor form (225 examples, 35 sources for ‘(corona)virus is X’).

Los maestros y la represión del ferrereño. La (escasa) vitalidad del dialecto, motivada por la idea que ha calado de la poca utilidad del ferrereño. El informante promovió muchas actividades, entre ellas cursos y obras de teatro, pero no cuajó, por la mentalidad derrotista. Hubo un maestro (D. Roberto) que estuvo muchas generaciones e hizo mucho daño. Comportamiento lingüístico de los emigrantes, que suelen dejar de hablar el ferrereño cuando retornan. Tendencia a dejar de hablar en ferrereño cuando está presente alguien ajeno a la comunidad. Una de las informantes más jóvenes que habla el ferrereño tiene ya 70 años; el más joven es un hermano del informante, de 53 años, que vive en Barcelona. El término “chapurrao”. La represión lingüística en la escuela iba aparejada a la represión ideológica. Se iban nadando (“banhando”) a Malpica, cuadrillas de chicos; y se comunicaban bien gracias al ferrereño. Contacto con Malpica. ¿Cómo se entendían unos y otros? ¿Cómo se identificaban lingüísticamente?, Os mestres e a repressão do ferrerenho. A (escassa) vitalidade do dialeto, motivada pela idéia que permeou da pouca utilidade do ferrerenho. O informante promoveu muitas atividades, incluindo cursos e peças de teatro, mas não coalhou, por causa da mentalidade derrotista. Havia um professor (D. Roberto) que esteve lá por muitas gerações e fez muitos estragos. Comportamento linguístico dos emigrantes, que normalmente deixam de falar o ferrerenho quando regressam. Tendência a deixar de falar em ferrerenho quando alguém de fora da comunidade está presente. Um dos informantes mais jovens que fala ferrerenho já tem 70 anos; o mais jovem é um irmão do informante de 53 anos que vive em Barcelona. O termo "chapurrao". Linguistic repression at school was accompanied by ideological repression. They went swimming ("banhando") to Malpica, gangs of boys; and they communicated well thanks to the ferrereño. Perfil lingüístico de la informante. En La Alamedilla se habla una “mistura”, no es verdadero portugués, es más grosero; pero tampoco es buen castellano; ejemplos de interferencias. Los de Puebla y La Alberguería hablan un español más cerrado, más “paleto”. El dialecto de La Alamedilla nace como mezcla, por ser lugar de contrabando. Muchos de los que hablan portugués es por provenir de familias portuguesas, algo que sucede con casi todos los habitantes. Reflexión sobre la pronunciación del grupo “ou” (p. ej. “toucinho”); grafocentrismo. [Los últimos 4 minutos de la entrevista se realizan en portugués] ¿Cómo se habla aquí el español? Aquí no hablan bien, o dicen palabras españolas con pronunciación portuguesa o palabras portuguesas pronunciadas a la española. Many of those who speak Portuguese come from Portuguese families, something that happens with almost all inhabitants. The dataset is part of the project: GRESEL-UAM: About GRESEL: AI Generation Results Enriched with Simplified Explanations Based on Linguistic Features (Resultados de Generación de IA Enriquecidos con Explicaciones Simplificadas Basadas en Características Lingüísticas).

This dataset is part of the publication titled "Assessing a Literary RAG System with a Human-Evaluated Synthetic QA Dataset Generated by an LLM: Experiments with Knowledge Graphs," which will be presented in September 2025 in Zaragoza, within the framework of the conference of the Sociedad Española para el Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural (SEPLN). The work has already been accepted for publication in SEPLN’s official journal, Procesamiento del Lenguaje Natural.

This dataset consists of the Trafalgar knowledge graph database, based on the novel by Benito Pérez Galdós and implemented in Neo4j. This database is used in the RAG experiments presented in the publication. As a Knowledge Graph (KG), it offers several advantages over conventional RAG approaches (which are explored in the paper). The database structures the text of the novel and links elements such as paragraphs and chapters, as well as named entities like character names, places, and ships. More information about its creation and structure can be found in the methodology section.

This is a neo4j.dump file, which contains an export of the Trafalgar database. This file can be used to replicate the database used in the experiments described in the paper.

Whereas a variety of attributes has been empirically associated to the social perception of animals, the identification of the underlying fundamental dimensions has been infrequent. Rooted in the stereotype content conceptualization and using multidimensional scaling, we explore the dimensions in which people organize animal targets based on how humans relate to them. Asking about the similarity in which humans relate to animals, participants rated thirty-four salient animals (from a pilot study; N = 76) using Likert scales in Study 1 (N = 108) and grouping similar animals in Study 2 (N = 112). A 3-dimension scaling solution fitted adequately the data (S-Stress < .15) and Study 3 aimed to interpret those dimensions using independently rated animals’ attributes (N = 176) through regression analysis. Results showed the relevance of relational nature – ferocity, wildness, avoidance/approach, warmth, and physical capacity – size, strength; whereas animal’s competence were less important. The findings signal a) the predominance of two dimensions for how people organize spontaneously animals – relational nature and physical capacity; and b) the similarity between stereotype content dimensions for animals and social groups. Implications for human-animal relations, conservation and environmental issues toward animal are advance.

• Study 1: Similarity measures (7 point Likert-type scale, 1 is completely different, 7 completely similar) between 34 animal species based on how people relate to them (N = 108 Spanish college participants).
• Study 2: Similarity measures (card sorting task, 0 if the species do not appear together, 1 if they do appear together) between 34 animal species based on how people relate to them (N = 112 college participants).
• Study 3: Ratings (7 point Likert-type scale) of the 34 animal species in 11 relevant attributes (N = 176 Spanish college participants).
